Dr. Don Arnette, author of I AM Supposed to Be Here-The Art of Dealing with Perception ” is on a mission to show support, teach, motivate, young Black American youth to understand that success for them can mean more than hip hop artist or Basketball player. Even while Dr. Arnette is the first African American male to receive a PH.D. from UT Southwestern Medical Center, he also was put in jail because he was accused of not belonging on campus, despite his School ID. Dr. Arnette knows what hard work can accomplish. He has a self funded Scholarship program that was just released.
