This week on FrankieSense & More Frankie’s guest was Mary Riley, daughter of HW Riley, journalist and war correspondent whose letters home to family between 1917-1921 became the source of her book which details the 12th Regiments Army Engineers and the years they spent in France during the Great War, Her book is titled, The Weeping Angel, Letters and Poems from World War 1 France.
